Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: August 21, 2026
Husky Digital aims to make this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, zoom, or other assistive technologies.
Standard We Target
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the same standard the U.S. Department of Justice adopted for government websites, and the one web accessibility claims under the ADA are measured against in practice. We do not claim full conformance: the site is tested on an ongoing basis and issues are fixed as they are found.
Current Accessibility Practices
- Semantic HTML for headings, navigation, forms, lists, and content sections.
- A skip-to-content link, a visible focus ring, and full keyboard operation for links, buttons, menus, FAQ details, and form controls.
- Dialogs return focus to whatever opened them and keep focus inside while open.
- Alt text or empty decorative alt attributes for images where appropriate.
- Responsive layouts that stay readable at 320px wide and under zoom, with no horizontal scrolling.
- Color contrast checked automatically in-browser against WCAG AA thresholds.
- prefers-reduced-motion is respected: animation and autoplay are turned off.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is an ongoing process. New interactive tools, tracking forms, and visual assets should be reviewed before launch to keep the experience usable and understandable.
